Manual Handling in Catering Services - Training Package

An innovative, flexible, specifically designed training programme containing all the resources trainers need to deliver basic manual handling courses within catering services

HME has designed this package to enable trainers to deliver a 2 hour practical manual handling training programme for small groups within a catering environment. It comprises a CD Rom, A3 flip chart presenter, cue cards and accompanying participant workbooks.

The CD Rom contains:

PowerPoint presentation
Tutor notes
Overhead projector slides
Tutor’s marking scheme
Other materials needed to deliver a professional course including: attendance sheet, course diary, health questionnaires and evaluation sheets.

A3 Flip Chart Presenter and Cue Cards

The tutor table top presenter provides a useful option for onsite training sessions where space is at a premium. The cue cards are designed to assist trainers with the delivery of the practical elements of the manual handling training.

The Workbook

The workbook which participants are required to complete in advance of the training, is professionally printed in an attractive pictorial format.

Trainers’ Courses

HME also runs 3 day trainers’ courses specifically designed for trainers who wish to deliver this programme. HME are also able to deliver the training directly to staff should an in house trainer be unavailable.
