This is a full day course designed to equip managers with
the knowledge, skills and tools with which to carry out
their legal obligations. The morning is theory with question
and answer sessions. The afternoon is spent as a desktop
workshop and allows the delegates to network with each other
as they pick over a worked example. All delegates take a
CDRom away from the course with all of the tools they need
to carry out the Fire Risk Assessment for their area.
The course aims to assist managers / staff to carry out
their fire safety responsibilities in accordance with
current Fire Safety legislation (Regulatory Reform Fire
Safety Order 2005). To equip unit managers with the
information necessary to carry out a suitable and sufficient
fire risk assessment. To endure unit managers are competent
to carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment.
To enable unit managers to undertake fire safety audits in
association with the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue
Service.
