Managing employees can sometimes mean addressing problem behaviour which can lead to conflict which has to be managed carefully and within the context of the law. This seminar enables delegates to understand their obligations in managing conflict professionally thus reducing the possibility of successful, costly and time consuming unfair dismissal claims. This seminar is uniquely flexible in that its content is based on the outcome of delegates diagnostic tools identifying the strengths and weaknesses in their approach to managing conflict. The seminar programme allows time for delegates to discuss any issues they currently face, developing an approach to take away with them.

Course Includes

  • Check your approach to managing conflict in your organisation

  • Understand the importance of establishing and using disciplinary and grievance procedures

  • Conduct effective and watertight investigations into grievances and misconduct

  • Managing appeals effectively to ensure fairness and reduce the possibility of legal challenge

  • Managing gross misconduct and suspension from duty. Understanding the effect of conduct outside of work

Cost per delegate: £85.00 + VAT course runs from 9:30am to 4:30pm and includes lunch and refreshments
 
Cost per in house course for up to 10 delegates: £810.00  + VAT + expenses
½ day courses charged pro rata
