This course will give
delegates the opportunity to define what abuse is and
recognise types of abuse. The course then covers the
indicators of abuse and although we endeavour to keep this
course safe some delegates may find the content to be of an
distressing nature. Delegates will be informed at the times
when the course will be at its most sensitive points. This
training has been recently updated to consider the national
review on procedures and also incorporates the impact of the
Mental Capacity Act 2005.
