"HME has an unparalleled level of
experience in the field of people handling
within health and social care and
educational systems. The
team has an impressive range of
qualifications including the postgraduate
programme at Loughborough University,
training qualifications in adult learning
and a range of health and social care
qualifications supported by excellent
training materials which enable the delivery
of moving and handling solutions at the
highest level.
This experience and
expertise has led to the development of a
series of excellent training products and
services across the range of areas involved in the handling of people. The
depth of skills allows the delivery of a
competent and very flexible service that can
be tailored to fit any care setting. Following many years of exposure to the
processes, packages and personnel involved
in HME Ltd, both internally and externally,
I hold the manual handling and training
solutions delivered by this organisation in
the highest regard. Any organisation that
invites HME Ltd to assist with the delivery
of their manual handling solutions will
receive support at the highest level." |

"As a manual handling
coordinator it is extremely important to
ensure that the training we provide is of a
high standard. To enable me to do this I
need to ensure that the skills and knowledge
of the team providing the training are
updated and that the materials they use are
current.
In the light of recent
developments in manual handling practice and
accountability, I felt that the training
team (including myself) would benefit from
being retrained. My main consideration was
to ensure that the training programme was
accredited by a recognised accrediting body.
After considering several
training providers I decided to enlist the
services of HME to provide the IOSH course.
The quality of the service I received (pre
and post course) the course content and
training resources were extremely high. The
trainers were excellent, extremely
knowledgeable and skilled. I was so pleased
that I booked a further 3 trainers on a
subsequent course.
I would like to commend
HME for their excellent training course. The
trainers were knowledgeable and professional
but at the same time very supportive. The
training materials are an excellent resource
and have provided us with the sound
foundation on which to build a quality
training programme." |

"This has been a valuable
partnership. Service users are benefiting
from an improved service. There has been a
complete change from poor management of
manual handling to one where we are
proactive. Managers closely monitor and
support staff and manage risks. Staff
clearly understand their responsibilities." |
