HME has developed a Manual Handling Trainers Pack to assist those who have recently completed the IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) approved Manual Handling Trainers Course - Assisting People to Move run their own training programmes.

The pack is designed to help trainers maintain the standards of the IOSH course when delivering their own foundation level training. 

It contains all the information trainers need to deliver foundation courses within health and social care services or any organisation that manages the risks of assisting people to move.

HME training programmes and training resources have been developed over many years in conjunction with the organisations we work with.  They have been widely tested in all sectors of the care services and have proved to be highly successful.  Our programmes and training resources are completely in line with standards set by the National Back Exchange, relevant professional bodies and the All Wales Manual Handling Training Passport and Information Scheme.

The trainers pack is a valuable addition to any trainers resources and will assist them to deliver high quality training within care organisations.

The trainers pack is updated annually to ensure that trainers keep up to date with changes in this field.  Purchasers of the pack will be notified of updates.
