HME Training are a team of highly qualified training experts, who provide training and advice for organisations to ensure staff deliver the best possible care safely and effectively.

We passionately believe in quality care, and how training can benefit the individual service user, care staff and organisations. Our services have achieved the UK’s top award for excellence and comply with all current legislation.

Our History

HME was established in 1997 by Martin Hutchinson and Rosemary Rogers, who had been working together as acknowledged national and international experts in the field for over 25 years.

Previously founder members of East Midlands Back Exchange, Martin and Rosemary produced and contributed to a number of publications and training resources, and regularly spoke at conferences both in the UK and abroad.

Over the intervening years, HME positioned themselves as a first-class training provider, with an emphasis on respect, compassion and professional delivery of services to the Health and Social Care Industry.

In 2015, HME moved into the Prism Medical UK Group, and continues to work under this enduring ethos with the support of Prism Medical. HME can be found offering advice and support at Prism events throughout the year.

HME has received various awards since its inception, including a National Training Award, which led to work with the Health and Safety Executive.

HME have Recognised Training Provider status from the National Skills Academy for Social Care, and have maintained this since 2011.

Following Martin and Rosemary’s retirement, Richard Groves took over as overall Manager, and HME continues to provide high quality training to the sector from its new base near Mansfield in the East Midlands.
